The May Racer of the Month is Fran Martin, Schaeffer rep from LeFor, North Dakota.

2009 marks Fran Martin’s 28th year racing and winning with Schaeffer products. Fran believes so strongly in the quality and performance of Schaeffer products, that he became a Schaeffer sales rep in 2007! Martin races a Late Model Modified in the IMCA Racing Series and attributes Schaeffer products to keeping him in the winner’s circle race after race! Of course a great car, exceptional racing skills and 28 years experience help too!

Clean & Cool
Clean & Cool is a new generation coolant treatment that protects the engine’s cooling system from rust, pitting, corrosion, electrolysis and scale deposits. It provides maximum cooling efficiency in all closed cooling systems and is recommended for both gasoline and diesel engines. Clean & Cool is highly concentrated to reduce cost.

Treatment level: 1 pint to each 8 gal cooling system capacity.

ALL-TRANS Supreme
ALL-TRANS® Supreme is a premium quality full synthetic automatic transmission fluid that is recommended for use in automatic and powershift transmissions that specify the use of Dexron®-lll, Mercon®, Mercon®V, Chrysler ATF+3 and ATF+4, and Allison C-4 type fluids. Blended into the synthetic base fluids of ALL-TRANS® Supreme is a highly specialized additive package that contains antioxidants, antiwear agents, detergents, defoamants, frictional modifiers and lubricity agents. This product’s superior performance will translate into significant reduction in transmission wear, better clutch performance and anti-shudder protection.

Citrol™
Removing rubber and tire marks has always been a chore, but with Citrol, the rubber comes right off with minimal effort. Citrol is a heavy duty, citrus-based solvent cleaner and degreaser that is environmentally safe, biodegradable and water soluble. It cleans surfaces and cuts through oil, grease, mildew, mold and scum. It is an excellent replacement for hazardous cleaners and degreasers. Citrol will completely remove the adhesive backing from vinyl lettering that remains on the car after the letters are removed.

Supreme 7000
Supreme 7000 is a para-synthetic motor oil that contains TWO proven friction modifiers, Micron Moly® and Penetro®, to improve fuel economy, reduce engine wear and increase engine life. Supreme 7000 is formulated using a high performance additive package designed to provide superior performance even in the most demanding racing conditions. Contains extra zinc for flat tappet cams. Exceeds requirements for API, SM. Exceeds Ford, GM, Chrysler, all foreign manufacturers’ specs.

Supreme 9000
Supreme 9000 is a full synthetic, heavy-duty engine oil specially formulated to provide better horsepower and longer engine life. Supreme 9000 is blended from a unique combination of polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluids and severely hydrocracked synthetic base fluids. This unique combination provides Supreme 9000 with many advantages, including improved engine efficiency and power, especially during severe operation. Exceeds requirements for API, SM/CF. Available in grades SAE 5W-30 (gas and diesel engines), SAE 5W-40 (diesel engines) and SAE 5W-50 (racing applications).

Supreme Gear Lube
Supreme Gear Lube enables treated equipment to carry heavier loads with reduced frictional wear. Lower units and gears run cooler and quieter. Specialized additives and demulsifiers protect gears from wear and rust, even under severe loads and in wet, contaminated environments.

Available in SAE 75W-90 or 140 (EP. GL-5). 293 is 75W-90. 294 is 140.

Diesel Treat 2000
Don’t forget your hauler! For diesel fuel only, Diesel Treat 2000 improves fuel lubricity, increases power, raises cetane and boosts fuel economy. Diesel Treat is specifically formulated with SynShield™ technology to protect fuel injectors against the harmful effects of ULSD fuel.

Treatment level: 137 SUM Diesel Treat 2000 (Summer Treated): 1 gal to 4000 gal of fuel, 137 ULSW Diesel Treat 2000 (Winter Treated): 1 gal to 1000 gal of fuel.

Moly E.P. Oil Treatment
Moly E.P. Oil Treatment is a highly fortified extreme pressure engine oil treatment that contains a highly specialized additive package. When used at the recommended treatment rate, this additive package increases compression through better ring seal, eliminates sticking valves, reduces blow-by, increases oil pressure, reduces engine friction and wear, increases power, and provides better viscosity control. To complement this specialized additive package a proven frictional modifier, Micron Moly® is further blended into the oil treatment. Micron Moly® is a liquid-soluble moly that plates to the metal surfaces of the engine. Once plated, moly forms a long-lasting lubricant film which prevents the metal surfaces from coming into contact. By preventing metal to metal contact, damaging frictional wear is eliminated, providing better performance.

Treatment Level: One pint of Moly E.P. Oil Treatment to every 5 quarts of engine oil.
