BRASSTOWN, NC - Officials from the Southern Nationals Series are extremely excited to announce today a multi-year partnership with Schaeffer's Specialized Lubricants to become the title sponsor of the popular southeastern Dirt Late Model touring series. The two entities have inked a three-year deal and the series will now be known as the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series. The title sponsorship from Schaeffer Oil allows the seven- year- old series to continue to thrive and grow, while providing some of the best racing action to fans across the region.
"We are very honored and elated to welcome Schaeffer's Specialized Lubricants on board as our title sponsor for the next three seasons," exclaimed founder and promoter Ray Cook. "Despite these hard economic times, Schaeffer's has stepped up and seen the value in the sport of Dirt Late Model racing. The majority of racers in our series have used Schaeffer Oil and speak very positively about its results and what it does for their engines, so it's a perfect match for our series and their brand message.
Schaeffer's offers a wide variety of products for use in a lot of different markets, not just the racing industry, and that is what we intend to get across to everyone that attends our events," added Cook.
Schaeffer Oil has been a pioneer in the development of many modern lubrication concepts through the use of additives, frictional modifiers, and synthetics. By developing better lubricants, they bring about improvements in performance, reliability, and economy. Schaeffer's specializes in developing quality lubricants for vehicles used in the racing, construction, trucking, agriculture, mining and marine industries
"Schaeffer's is proud to become a part of and support this long-running, popular series," noted Steve Brewer, Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Schaeffer's. "Dirt late model racing has really come of age and we're thrilled to bring 10 exciting races that are sure to be a fun event for all racing fans in the South."
