The cooling properties of Schaeffer's engine oils can be difficult to witness since the benefits take place under the hood. In order to provide a more visible demonstration, a dealer in Texas conducted a test comparing a conventional engine oil to Schaeffer's technology, this time in a Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider motorcycle with fewer than 8,000 miles.
After an initial 8-mile test run using the conventional product, thermal imaging equipment showed high heat signatures, with max temperatures peaking at about 393°F and an average temperature of 235°F. The oil was then changed out and replaced with Schaeffer Supreme 7000, and the bike taken out on an identical 8-mile run. The subsequent thermographs done on the bike's return showed a dramatic drop in temperatures: highs peaked out at about 375°F, with average temperatures of 192°F.
Thermographic imaging shows Doug Glur's Harley Davidson runs cooler with Schaeffer's #707 Supreme V-Twin Synthetic Plus Racing Oil 20W-50. See how Doug put his oil to the test.
Chris Russell sponsors this is pulling truck. Their record improves every year. This picture is from the Missouri State Fair where they pulled in the finals. Mega Rush Pulling Team won 4th place in points 2015 season pulling with MMTTPA Association. Mega Rush Pulling Team also got an invitation only invite from NHRDA to World Finals in Ennis, TX. They placed 9th in the World Finals and pulled against 18 of the 'baddest' running trucks in country.
"I am firm believer in Schaeffer's Oil. We are on our second season with the engine. It runs just as good as it did when we built it. The truck transmission and differentials are running cool. No high temps at all. I have really noticed in my daily drive that I get better fuel mileage. In my fleet work truck, I have seen that I no longer have oil leaks since I have changed oil over to Schaeffer Oil," says Shawn Friedlein.
With its diesel fuel prone to waxing and causing filter plugging, the school district knew it needed a better way to maintain fuel quality. Schaeffer's Diesel Treat 2000 helped eliminate fuel issues, and Schaeffer's engine oil has allowed the school to extend oil drains.
