See the results of a 2007 Timbco teardown with over 9,000 hours on the hydraulic pumps after running exclusively on Schaeffer's Hydraulic Fluid.
Urfer Trucking changes oil in their trucks every 60,000 miles. This million mile diesel engine teardown features a 550 horsepower C-15 Caterpillar diesel engine with 1,055,000 miles and all original parts. Schaeffer's Supreme 7000 diesel oil was the only oil used.
The cleanliness and minimal wear on this engine is a great example of the high-quality base oil and detergency of Schaeffer Oil. Watch the video to see the full teardown.
Bulldog Drilling is a geotechnical and environmental drilling company that uses CME and AMS equipment.
The equipment Bulldog Drilling uses is similar to farm equipment in terms of parts and extreme usage. Because of the working conditions, the company was routinely replacing worn out components.
The company started using Schaeffer’s All For One 80W-140 in their transmission, and within two working shifts, they noticed it ran “smooth as silk.” They then serviced two more drill rigs with Schaeffer’s 80W-140 without telling the driller, and they experienced the same results: smoother, quieter performance and able to get multiple operation movements simultaneously.
Bulldog Drilling changed its hydraulic fluid over to Schaeffer’s HTC Supreme ISO 46 and were able to double the hydraulic feed rate with no other changes or adjustments to the machine.
Schaeffer’s Boom Lube has allowed the company to go from greasing once a day to once every couple weeks with less visible wear on the cylinder slides.
According to Bulldog Drilling, Schaeffer’s products have been great for their equipment and have definitely improved their bottom line.
When Snow Pro St. Louis purchased an older wheel loader, it had been covered in quite a bit of concrete from being used inside a mixing plant. Snow Pro tried three different concrete cleaners to remove the heavier buildup, but the stubborn concrete refused to budge.
When their Schaeffer rep introduced them to Schaeffer’s concrete buster, Crete Crusher, they weren’t too sure it would work. However, they quickly changed their minds when they saw the results.
They sprayed Crete Crusher on the loader and waited 30 minutes before spraying it again on areas that had dried in the sun. Crete Crusher works best when it’s applied with a sprayer in the shade.
As Snow Pro explains, Crete Crusher worked great considering how long the buildup had been on the loader.
“Crete Crusher made notable improvement in removing the concrete buildup compared to the other products we used,” the company says. “In fact, it quickly exposed the grease fittings and drain fill holes for servicing that had been under layers and layers of concrete.”
Amazingly, the areas that had the thickest buildup had the best results.
Areas like the rims that had multiple, thin layers required a second application to get better results. After ridding the loader of concrete buildup, Snow Pro now keeps it clean with Schaeffer’s Turbo Red Cleaner Concentrate.
