Retail Locator Form (Internal Use For Schaeffer Reps)
Congratulations! You have a retailer who wants to sell our products and be added to the Retail Locator listed on our website. That’s a very popular page on our website, and it helps drive foot traffic to the stores.
Before we get started, let’s make sure the retailer meets the qualifications we ask of all retailers listed on the website. For more information about retail, please read POL-1091, Schaeffer’s Retail Sales Policy.
Annual sales volume requirements
- $1,000 minimum stocking order for new customers who have had a customer account with Schaeffer less than 1 year.
- $3,000 in annual sales after the first year.
- $5,000 in annual sales after the third year and thereafter.
Retailer requirements
- The customer must be listed in RepSuite as a retailer or oil change shop.
- Sales reps or their physical address are not allowed to be listed.
- Retailer can’t be an online only retailer—they must have a physical location open to the general public.
- The retailer must regularly stock inventory.
- Retail store and/or oil change shop much sell and provide service to the general public.
Examples of customers who do not qualify for the retail locator include:
- Farmers who sells from their barns to their neighbors.
- Racers who sell to their buddies.
- Retailers who place single cases orders a few times a year for a select group of end users.
